🎯 What You’ll Do — Point by Point
- Secure a Sustainable Milk Supply
- Give farms technical advice (nutrition, herd health, pasture, fodder flow).
- Flag issues early and bring in specialists; follow up on fixes.
- Forecast & Optimise Supply
- Help predict monthly milk-solid volumes for each Lactalis factory.
- Spot deviations fast and propose corrective actions.
- Benchmark & Reduce Costs
- Compare farm milk prices vs. competitors; hunt savings in transport & inputs.
- Champion Compliance & Environment
- Ensure farms meet environmental laws and animal-welfare standards (GAP audits).
- Promote waste reduction, energy optimisation, water conservation, and CSR checks.
- Farm-Side Relationship Management
- Keep suppliers in the loop on safety, health, environment, and pricing.
- Handle ad-hoc farmer queries on dairy husbandry, feeding, pasture, etc.
